"You are the salt of the earth." - Matthew 5:13 Catholics believe that there are many directions away from God, and equally as many ways back to Him. Those on the left must go right, those on the right must go left. There are some who have to go neither of these directions, and some opposite even to that! The way you have to go depends on where you are now. But all of them go to the Father, through Jesus. Not everyone on the journey knows that, and many don't even know where they're going.
